Accessibility statement

Our ongoing commitment to digital access for everyone across the Greater Toronto Area.

Conformance standard

JKRC Group is committed to a digital experience that is accessible to everyone, including people with visual, auditory, cognitive and motor impairments. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

Measures in place

  • Text and accent colours calibrated to meet or exceed a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against their backgrounds, on both light and dark sections.
  • Visible focus rings for keyboard-only navigation, including the menu, accordions, sliders and gallery.
  • Semantic HTML landmarks and ARIA attributes across navigation, accordions and dialogs.
  • Full support for prefers-reduced-motion: the intro, smooth scrolling, page transitions and scroll-linked animations are all disabled when it is set.
  • No autoplaying sound. Site video is muted; the project video player has an explicit sound control.
