Challenge, then solution.
Challenge
Severely spalled concrete and oxidized rebar at heights exceeding 45 feet over active traffic lanes, requiring zero commercial disruption and strict zero-drop safety zones.
Solution
Executed specialized aerial boom staging, high-pressure concrete hydro-scarification, rust-inhibiting rebar coatings, and high-early-strength polymer-modified mortar patches.
How it ran
Three stages, inspected.
- Phase 01
Initial Inspection & Surface Preparation
Aerial boom lift envelope inspection, hydro-demolition of loose spalled concrete, rebar rust conversion treatment, and edge profiling.
- Phase 02
Structural Execution & Joint Injection
Application of structural polymer-modified patching mortar, rebar doweling, and seismic expansion joint elastomeric caulking.
- Phase 03
Finishing, Weatherproofing & Handover
Commercial weatherproof membrane coating, glass curtain-wall perimeter sealing, and final engineering inspection sign-off.
